Nitin Gambhir

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Tethys Technology

Mr. Gambhir is the founder of Tethys Technology, Inc. (www.Tethystech.com) and an expert in global quantitative trading. The company has offices in New York, London, Toronto and New Delhi. His work and vision has propelled Tethys to become one of the leading Algorithmic trading services firms. Mr. Gambhir is also the founder and chairman of Oceanus Securities (www.Oceanussec.com). Oceanus is a SEC registered broker dealer. Mr. Gambhir also co-founded an art gallery Tethys Art. The gallery is located in Southampton, NY. (www.Tethys.Art)

Mr. Gambhir has a Bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Master’s from Yale University. Mr. Gambhir started his career as an Associate at JP Morgan, before joining Bear Stearns where he initially held the position of Vice President before being promoted to the position of Managing Director. Thereafter, Mr. Gambhir worked as a portfolio manager at SAC and then founded, Altus Asset Management, LLC, an institutional asset management firm.

Mr. Gambhir is a member of the board of Yale School of Management and Yale International Center of Finance. He is also a member of the governing board of Many Hopes (www.ManyHopes.org), a charity that builds schools for underprivileged children in Africa and Latin America. He is passionate about charitable efforts promoting art, education and governance.
