Roman Ginis is the Founder and CEO of Imperative Execution, the parent company of IntelligentCross, a leading US equities trading venue that uses AI to optimize price discovery. Prior to launching IntelligentCross, Roman was a quantitative trader at Point72 and UBS, where he ran portfolios in US equities. He earned a doctorate in Computer Science in distributed systems and discrete optimization from The California Institute of Technology, holds patents in stream computing and complex event processing, and is an expert in market microstructure and trade execution.
