Stephen Ponzio

Stephen Ponzio is Head of Electronic Trading at BTIG. Mr. Ponzio brings to the firm twenty years of experience in equity trading, on both the sell-side and the buy-side. Prior to joining BTIG, he ran electronic trading at Millennium, where he designed the platform to be more systematic, automated, and data-driven. Previously, Mr. Ponzio was a Director at Citi, where he built Citi’s US trading algorithms and systematized risk pricing on Citi’s Cash Trading Desk. He earned an MS in computer science and a Ph.D. in mathematics and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
