Travis Ni
Head Trader, Equities Americas GICTravis Ni is Global Head of Cross-Asset Trading and Head of Equities Trading (Americas) at GIC. He also leads innovation in technology and AI development within trading.
Travis joined GIC in 2018 as a Cross-Asset Trader, focusing on electronic trading across equities, futures, and FX. In 2022, he expanded his remit to include ECM, high-touch cash equities trading, and equity derivatives trading. In 2026, he received the Global Markets Choice AI Leadership Award.
Before joining GIC, Travis worked at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, where he specialized in algorithmic trading, market structure, and alternative trading systems.
Travis holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a triple major in Applied Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics, along with a minor in Computer Science. He also holds an M.S. in Financial Engineering from Columbia University.
